387L Coprocessor
The C387L is a high performance match coprocessor derived from the Intel® i387SX. A computing system that includes the C387L fully conforms to the IEEE Standard for Floating- Point Arithmetic (IEEE 754).
The core extends the architecture of the 386 processor with floating-point, extended integer and BCD data types.
There are over 70 mnemonics added to the instruction set, including support for arithmetic, logarithmic, exponential, and trigonometric mathematical operations.
The C387L is an upward object-code compatible from the 8087 and executes all codes written for the Intel® i387DX and i387SX coprocessors
