8051 Platform - Industry Standard at its Best
Our 8051-compliant IP cores are probably the widest spread implementations of this architecture in the world. Starting from a pin-to-pin replacement of the Intel 80C51 microcontroller in 1997, we have been enhancing this 8-bit design with new features and peripherals ever since.
The current generation of the 8051 microcontroller, the R8051XC2, is the world’s fastest 8051 IP core - it reaches as much as 0.114 DMIPS/MHz. The R8051XC2 is also a highly configurable architecture, and surpasses many competitors in this area as well.
The latest product in the line is the R80251XC- a configurable microcontroller IP with 32-bit internal architecture compatible with Intel 80C51 and exceeding its performance by up to 25 times.
