IP Customization - Based on Strong Foundation

ip customization

Every piece of Evatronix IP is designed to meet the whole spectrum of applications it might be used in. When necessary, we can provide special configuration scripts or customize the IP in-house for a perfect fit in your design.

The other configurable and customizable element is software. Developed in parallel to our hardware blocks, software drivers and stacks support all configurations of the cores and can be optimized for individual requirements upon customer’s request. For testing of different configuration options, we provide application development environments for our most widely adopted microcontrollers, and test benches for controllers and their interfaces.

For even shorter time-to-market, designers can start with our 8051-based USB, Ethernet and HDLC Application Platforms and have them tailored for their needs. For even more straightforward implementation, most of the platforms are already supplied with optimized software stacks.

Our customization capabilities

In reality, even the most configurable IP might not meet all application requirements straight off the shelf. In over 14 years of our IP development history, we have come across many situations where customer success was achieved also thanks to our in-depth analysis, extensive support and technical expertise at customer site.

To accelerate application prototyping, we offer development of TLM models or IP-XACT compatible packages.

Compact Flash Card

Using Evatronix IP, we were able to design the whole Compact Flash card in an FPGA device from Xilinx. The NAND Flash controller is plugged straight into the PLB bus, and the SDLL NAND Flash PHY adds extra stability for NAND Flash memories supporting ONFi 2.x standard.

SSD Drive

The same NAND Flash controller can also be applied to an ASIC on the AMBA AHB bus with Cortex M3 processor. Together with the Evatronix USB 3.0 Device controller they implement complete functionality of a very fast Solid State Drive.

USB 3.0 Test Device

Our USB-IF certified SuperSpeed USB 3.0 device controller has been implemented as the xHCI host testing device. By broadening the set of control registers, developer could manipulate the device from outside of FPGA and define virtually any behavior.
